These pictures and comments are wonderful. Our daughter made many trips to Antarctica when she worked for Antarctic Support Services and then Raytheon Polar Services. Keep these coming. Would enjoy seeing the final film. We have a friend Laurie Sandell who told us about your trip.

Thanks for your lovely comments and sorry it has taken me so long to reply. We were able to send text emails through from our antarctic trip but had no access to the internet so couldn’t see what people were writing back to us. Your daughter must have some incredible memories from her time there. I will try and let you know when our programme appears on the discovery channel..should be in about 6 months. It is called Globetrekker.
We filmed at palmer station the us base where I think your daughter worked. It had a great community feel there. I loved meeting all the scientists and we even filmed the house band one night!

Laurie is a star isn’t she telling people what here friends are up to? I love reading all her work.
